A trip to Newmarket for Lydia's first major swimming competition. She did really well, beat all her personal best times and won a silver medal.
David, Zoe and Olivia visited at the weekend. Lydia was out at a sleep over for some of the day but we had a good time and snapped a few shots on the Hipstamatic on the ipod of Olivia and Alistair.
Plus it was Alistair's Christmas play, he was an elf.

It's CHRISTMASSSSSSS... another year and lots of fun to be had. Amazingly it all went to plan, or just about anyway. Lydia and Alistair decorated the cake ahead of two days of celebration and relatives visiting, including Great Granny's first Christmas with us, something we can do now she is living locally.

and other presents, mainly Lego, in the afternoon. We also had visitors from the US, Shaina and a freind she has met while studying in the UK, Kathy.

Then we visit David, Zoe and Olivia and enjoy a fish lunch outside - brrrrr, nice pint of beer thrown in to add to the chill. It was a lovely day and great end to the Christmas festivities.
