Alistair is three next month and as an early birthday present we took him to see Thomas and a few of his friends. I think he was a little overwhlmed by the size of the engines, but he had a great day.
It was the first time I'd been out since being unwell and it made a nice change, though I didn't do much else for the next few days.

I'm still off work and have had a CT scan which hasn't really resolved anything so although the pneumonia has gone I'm left with a partly collapsed lung and will have a bronchoscopy in a couple of weeks.
I don't feel too bad but any real exertion wipes me out and the idea of travelling to work is just a non-starter at present.
Eleanor, Phoebe and Lydia have joined Rainbows and tonight they said their "promise".
Despite enjoying every minute they seem a bit reluctant to have their picture taken.
Halloween in approaching so it's out with the kitchen knife to hack a pumpkin apart.
Not the greatest picture, but I'm not really in the mood for taking snaps.
Time for a bronchoscopy! Not something I'd recommend, but all was well.
