Photo 'A' Week - May 2004
April 2004
June 2004
Week 19
Just wanted to include this, Lydia's cyber pet on CBeebies... how times change!

Week 20
Tumble Tots!  Lydia is now moving to the bigger class where Mummy and Daddy don't get to join in, ahhh! So I went along to one of her last sessions, she is doing very well, as is her friend Eleanor.

Week 21
The week begins with a derailment at White City Tube and the continues with a trip to Normandy in France for myself and my colleage Emma.

We are shooting stills and video in preparation for the 60th Anniversary of D-Day next month.  Nice car, great weather and French food... a fun few days.

We manage to visit all five of the invasion beaches, plus St Mere Eglise and Pegasus Bridge (see here).

Apart from stock shots for the coverage my main aim is to create 360s of a few key sites and a gallery in black and white looking at the remains of bunkers and other articals on the beaches.

To see the 360 gallery click here, and the invasion architecture can be seen here, though a few are shown below without the accompanying text.

One other objective is to interview Leon Gaultier, a Frenchman  who landed on Sword Beach 60 years ago, and who now walks his dog on that same beach each morning.

Emma in a bunker and eating some excellent Moules.

Week 22
Urban dwellers across the land are being encouraged to get in touch with nature by keeping hens in their back gardens. But does it make sense - and what do the chickens think about it?   That is what the BBC is asking, click here for the story.

Model Village.  Lydia and Oliver are fascinated by a fantastic model village, complete with working trains, firemen and all sorts of neat touches.

Back to David and Vicky's for a fun time in the garden and some good food.

Gran's off, up, up and away.  Yes she's flying high at Panshanger airfield in Hertfordshire, the same place I had go when I was thirty.

Maureen is over from the US and after the flight they came back to us for dinner.

Lydia had lots of fun, as ever.
