Photo 'A' Week - August 2003
July 2003

Week 32
Sir Clive Sinclair on a Segway!  What fun!  And he signed my old QL brochure and a microdrive for me.  A lovely chap who gave us a scoop in announcing he is planning to launch a new vehicle next year.  A story that resulted in Jon' (the journo) being on Radio 5 and loads of coverage in the national press.

Week 34
A fun couple of weeks.  Off to the British Beer Festival at Olympia on my own for a photo essay.  Great fun to shoot on the Leica and B&W film, scan the negs and make it live.

Week 35
A Bar-B-Q at
David and Vicky's.  Lots of fun for all as Tim and Dot (Oliver's Nanny and Grandad).  I'm not sure what David is doing to Oliver, some kind of weightlifting challenge!
Lydia and Oliver shared a bath before we headed home, they enjoyed that.

According to the latest census, Aireborough in West Yorkshire is the most "average" place in England and Wales. With so many aspects of their lives matching national averages, the locals might even be thought of as extraordinarily... ordinary. What's that like?

That is Ryan's intro' to our latest story, click here to read the full text.
And this is me after a long day about to tuck in to fish and chips before driving home.  All in all we covered 550 miles having left home at 7am to get back at midnight.  Having said that there was a point during the day when we thought the story going to fall apart.
