Week 18
Out for work covering the May Day protests, or lack of them.  Vox-pops using the Nokia 7650 mobile phone to take shots such as the one on the right.  B&W pix on the Leica of ''Reclaim the streets'. Click here to read the BBC story.

A new feature
at work
requires shots of ten things, ideally from readers but if not it's up to me. Click here.

Had a lovely Bar-B-Q with Caroline and Graham and three of their four children, Emma, Luke and Joseph. Lydia liked their large garden and all the new toys. Especially
the swing.

I shot this picture of Bob Geldof a couple of years ago but from time to time it appears on the BBC News site and in magazines. Click here for the story.Nikon D1
Having not been sent out much for a while this week is a busy one.  Megan tries out the new police fitness test, see the full story here.

Nikon D1 / 20mm 2.8D
In addition to that I get two visits to the British Museum which celebrates its 250th anniversay soon.  A 360 flash movie of the Elgin Marbles and shots of their 'top-10' attractions.  I got lucky with this one, the hat and discus - couldn't have set it up if I'd tried, photography can be fantastic at times. Click here for the 360 (you will need to find the launcher within the story) and here for the picture gallery (which will look odd as it's a pop-up).
