We went to see Alistair's friend George race - he competes in a go-kart competition, this is at the track in Rye House, Hoddesdon where Lewis Hamilton began his career.
A long trip to County Durham to photograph some deprived former mining communities for a piece at work
A trip to Snetterton to watch some vintage racing, sadly is was a little wet - but a good day anyway.
There were a few old Lotus 7s on show too.
My camera for the day at Snetterton and below a 4am trip to an observatory - sadly the astronomer didn't turn up as he had the date wrong! I was not impressed though I did get to stay at a premier inn and have breakfast
